Get motivated with these motivational quotes.

It's inevitable that you wil have times where you won't feel motivated to do anything towards achieving your goals. Whether it's getting yourself to go to the gym, study, or even writing an article, even if the goal is important to you, there are just times when you'd rather be lazy and do something else. Here are some motivational quotes that will hopefully get you back into that action mode. Success only comes to those who can consistently do the things that needs to be done. A simple formual for achieving your goals is to have more days where you're moving closer to your goals than days where you're not. I'll be adding my own comments along with these short motivational quotes so enjoy.

"You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing you think you cannot do." - Eleanor Roosevelt

If there is one thing that stops most people from realizing their true potential, it's fear. This dirty little 4 letter word has caused countless people to abandon their dreams and go to their graves filled with regret. The thing about fear though is that most of it is imagined. We come up with all these scenarios of what might happen if we take the chance. Until you learn to act inspite of fear, you'll be missing out on what life really has to offer.

"Always remember, you have within you the strength the patience and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world." - Harriet Tubman

If you have big dreams but have doubts about your ability to make them a reality, that's fine. It's okay to have some doubts but take action anyway. You really won't know how far you can get in life until you just have some faith and go for your dreams. What have you got to lose?

"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." - Thomas Edison

Success takes work. The more work you put in, the more opportunities will cross your path. You want to know how to have more luck in your life? It's simple. Put yourself out there. Work harder than anyone you know because when one of the life opportunity comes your way, you'll be ready and prepared to grab it.

"In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." - Albert Einstein

It is said that the Great Depression of the 30's create more millionaires than any other time in history. Now I don't know if this is true or not but what I do know is that when things are bad, if you look hard enough, you will find opportunities that wouldn't exist in any other conditions. Lost your job? What better time to start your own business or find job that you actually like? Stock market dropping? What better time to pick up quality stocks for dirt cheap prices?

"You are what you take time to become." - Joseph Shein

If you want to get good at anything, it will take work and time. There was a story about a young man who went to hear a professional pianist. After the show, the young man walked up to the pianist and said, "I'd give everything to play like you." in which the pianist replied, "I did."

What do spend most of your time on? If it's something like TV or some other pointless activity, don't be too surprised when you wake up one day and wonder why you haven't really gotten anywhere with your life.

"When it comes to getting things done, we need fewer architects and more brick layers." - Colleen C. Barrett

Planning is important. Without a plan, you wil walk around aimlessly. However, without action, the best plans in the world are useless. Too many people spend way too much planning and waiting for the perfect moment while their competitors took action and reaped the rewards.

"Accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else." - Les Brown

Most of us have heard of self-made millionaires. That's a pointless statement because we're all self made but only the success ones are willing to admit it. Whether your life is where you want it to be or not, it is a result of your decisions. Instead of blaming the economy or the government or your spouse or your in-laws or your boss or anyone else, learn to take responsibility for where your life currently is right now because only then will you understand that the power to change your life is in your own hands.
