Spare Tire Cover

Covers for your spare tire are a great way to give your car a personal touch. You can make a fashion statement with them, show what your favorite hobby is or simply protect your spare tire in a creative way. There are literally hundreds of tire covers around, I collected here my favorite ones, so that you have a little pre-selection. Apart of looking nice, and giving a personal, creative touch to your car, a spare tire cover also protects your replacement tire from the influences of the weather and from dirt. Make sure you choose the right size, the cover should sit tightly but not to tight around your spare tyre, but not too tight. Follow the guidelines of each manufacturer to choose the fitting size. If the cover is too loose the wind can get caught in it and this will influence the aerodynamic of your car negatively.

So the last one is for a bit of fun and for all of us peace-loving hippies! I think it would fit perfectly a posh black or dark gray SUV ;-) Or, on second thought, perhaps it would be also a nice addition to on old Volkswagen bus. What do you think?

Just found this gorgeous Moon spare tire cover on the right. I think that would make a great gift for somebody that works predominately night shifts or that special werewolf in your life! I am sure sometimes we all feel a bit like howling, let your spare tire cover do it for you ;-)
