Things I Love About Wizzley: Tweet Statistics

by humagaia

Tweet statistics - what are they? The thing I love about Wizzley is that they give you the things that you never knew you wanted, until you get them!

Sweet tweets are made of these
Who am I to retweet thee?
Tweeting the world and the seven sea's
Everybody's tweeting for something

Some of them want to tweet you
Some of them want to get tweeted by you
Some of them want to tweet you
Some of them want to be retweeted

Wizzley's Little Gem

The secret "Tweet Stats"

Wizzley is great! Long live the mighty Wizzley!
I compliment the entire staff for all their efforts. And they come up trumps every time. Especially in the little details department.

Who is Head of the Little Details department?

Promote them to the Big Details Department.

They deserve it. This one is a little gem. And I'll tell you why..........

But first.........

Where To Find It....

Now, this is the tricky bit!!!!

It's exactly where you think it should be!

Tweet Stats .... but what's lurking behind?

That's correct!!!!

But wait, there's more!

Just look at the screenshot for a moment.

What do you see?

Look again.

Is your screen resolution high enough to make out that there is a short black underline under the figure of the number of tweets? That's the one with 73 on the Tweet panel.

Got it?             No!?

Well what about the writing in the panel?

[This page has been shared 73 times. View these tweets.]

What do you think happens when you press the 73?

You don't know? You've never done it. Well go and press it then. What are you waiting for? Time is pressing (pun alert!).

What did you get? You haven't been? You want me to tell you! Oh all right then.

You get this..........

Now you say....

What good does that do me?

I don't know what good it does you, but these are the things that it does for me:

  • It gives me a little flutter in my heart knowing that other people have tweeted my article.
  • It pleases me
  • I think "Thank you Wizzley!"
  • I now know who to reward
  • I now know who to follow
  • I also know that I am more likely to tweet, retweet and list them
  • I may also add them to my Twitterfeed list and promote all of their RSS feed offerings
  • If they haven't got an RSS feed then I can create an RSS feed from their tweets and promote that

Just by pressing that 'Tweet stats' number I gain a level of information immediately, without having to go off and find it stuck in a cupboard at Twitter central. Saves me loads of time and effort.

So much time and effort that I have had time to put this little number together.

Thanks Wizzley! Thanks Wizzley!

It's so good I had to say it twice!

Things I Love About Wizzley Series

Wizzley has a great atmosphere about it. There are no undertones of animosity. Everybody feels as though they belong. The staff are polite and helpful. What a change from Hubpages!
Things I love about Wizzley #5. Making money online from home just got much easier thanks to Wizzley's latest money earning opportunity: if you can write, that is.
Wizzley has great modules to create great articles. And there are useful, if little known, facilities like the misnamed 'Fan Pages Feed' s/b 'Favorite Authors Feed': I love it!
What I love about Wizzley is how simple things are not made difficult. 'Export as Text' is a great facility for writers. The 'Print Facility' is great for all. Reasons to use them.

@Jimmie - good isn't it. There are a lot more informatics that it leads to on Twitter as well. But that is for another Wizer.

I'm having a "duh" moment. Thanks for pointing this out to me. I had no idea I could see all the Tweets for a single wizz. Now that I know, I'm having fun peeking into this data.

@H_H - it's funny how lyrics enter ones head and stay there. These seemed to just fit like a glove. And I just loved the Eurythmics. I'll no doubt be paraphrasing other songs in the future - you have been warned. Just wish I could sing!

Holistic_Health on 02/19/2012

Did you channel the Eurythmics? Now I have the lyrics to "Sweet Dreams" in my head. Great prompt for next time I'm stuck for an idea.

@Dustytoes Check them out so you can add the people that tweet you to your Twitter family. If they follow you back you know you have a follower that will actually be interested in what you tweet and may retweet you again. That can only be a win-win situation.

Tweeting is so easy to do and helpful for promoting great writing here. I didn't know about checking the tweets though... !

@Brenda - glad to hear it. I do too, if I remember - the brain is going and remembering becomes more..... what's the word? .......oh, difficult. Knew it was in there somewhere.
