Because Paris is still considered a leading base for perfume industry in France were the fashion divas find world’s best fragrances. There is something very secret in production of these fragrances that cannot be found without the acquired skills of the creator of French powerhouses that generated the top quality perfumes known so imminently known in the country of France. Grasse the perfume capital of France is renowned for the traditional method of yielding perfumes from the flowers in an old fashioned technology.

Definitely from Grasse, France..........

Do you love French perfumes?
WriterArtist, Thank you for product lines, pretty pictures and practical information.
In particular, I appreciate your associating the top 10 perfumes with their containers, people and places. I can imagine visiting the various locales and leaving with their signature perfume scents by hanging my clothes out on the balcony!
LVMH certainly has a storehouse of aromatherapy secrets in so many brands admired and respected because of years of easing the right ingredients in the right proportions into the right-shaped containers.
Would you happen to know which one of the top 10 has the oldest continuously made and marketed fragrance?
I am definitely a perfume-a-holic. I love Chanel No.19, the old-school fragrances of the 1970's and anything with Patchouli or spice.
@Mira - French perfumes are lovely and some of those that you want to love having them around, many of them remind me of the beautiful fragrant countryside.
I'll have to try some L'Occitane en Provence perfumes, including the one you're showing. Thanks for the page!:)
Hi Natural_Skin_Care - Yep, French perfumes are tempting.
Lovely illustrations - makes me want to buy perfume!
Dear Tolovaj,
Amazing to see that you know something about the fragrance as a student in pharmacy. Licenses are inevitable, especially when you see how many of these aromas end in aromatherapy. Hope one gets the genuine and authentic scents as opposed to the chemical ones.
Who doesn't? When I worked as a student in pharmacy, there was also a department making perfumes (fragrances are actually the essence of many pharmaceutical drugs), but they were done by license - from one of French companies. Even professionals who know how are perfumes done can't avoid them...
One more proof how much tradition is behind these brands!
