A turtle party would make a fun party theme for your child. This party theme would be great for a 1st birthday or for young children. If you decide to host a turtle party for your son or daughter, this page features a nice assortment of unique party crafts and activities to keep the little ones busy and having fun!

Turtle Wood Craft and Suncatcher Craft

Both of these crafts would be perfect for your turtle themed celebration.

turtle craft I have done both the wood magnet craft as well as the suncatcher craft at my children's birthday parties. They were both fun for the kids and the finished projects looked wonderful.

For the suncatcher craft, you can purchase a Google Eye Turtle Suncatcher or a Turtle Friends Suncatcher. Then the kids can decorate their suncatchers with glass stain. This party craft would be good for children ages 9+. Here are the frog suncatchers the kids did at my daughter's party a few years ago.

The kids can also decorate cute wooden turtles. Simply purchase an assortment of paints, rhinestones and other embellishments and the kids can get creative. Then attach a magnet strip to the back and they can display their masterpiece at home. Here is a picture of the dog bone wood craft the kids did a few years ago at my daughter's Puppy Party.

Turtle Perler Bead Party Crafts

These crafts are so much fun for kids!

My kids and their friends love making perler bead creations. This craft would also make a fun party activity. Perler beads are recommended for children ages 6+, but younger kids can do them as well.

There is a Turtle Pegboard which would be a lot of fun for the kids to decorate. They could decorate this board any way they want including a colorful pattern, all green or using random colored beads. There would be no wrong way to do it.

You can also purchase a Turtle Motionator Perler Bead Kit. This kit makes two turtles and a tree. If there is not enough time to complete all of the crafts in the kit, the children can take the rest home to finish. Simply place all of the unused items in a bag with their name on it.
