Planning A Wedding On A Budget
An expensive wedding is beautiful but costly. Budget weddings can be just as beautiful. Planning a wedding on a small budget doesn't mean you have to have a cheap wedding. It just means that you have to be a little creative in your planning. I've attended weddings that cost over $100,000. and I've been to weddings that cost under $5,000. To be honest, I had more fun at the weddings that cost under $5,000. There seemed to be more personal touches and creative, unique ideas at the less expensive weddings. The focus of the budget weddings were on the bride and groom rather than the thousand of dollars it cost to fill the wedding reception hall at the $100,000. wedding. I've been to weddings that had very expensive wedding favors on the table, but I enjoyed the candy buffet more at the less expensive wedding. A candy buttet that the bride's sisters put together themselves. One of my favorite weddings was a redneck wedding. I had more fun at that wedding than any other wedding I ever attended. Now, I'm pretty sure you are not here to plan a redneck wedding, so let's get on with some other budget wedding ideas.

Wedding Budget Spreadsheet
The most important thing to planning a wedding on a budget is to set a budget and stick to it. A wedding budget spreadsheet is essential to helping you stick to your budget. On your wedding budget spreadsheet, list everything that you plan to spend money on, from the photographer to party favors. This will give you a visual to the amount of money you expect to spend and what you actually spend.
