Will using Cashback sites pay off?
by ethelsmith
Shopping online often offers great bargains but could they be even better if you use a cash back site?
Topcashback offers |
Why the Internet category
Firstly let me say that I have probably categorised this page wrongly. Finding just where it fitted into the Wizzley catalogue was not easy. In the end I went for the Internet as that is where the cashback sites are to be found.
Personal experiences
I have used Topcashback for some time now. It is an easy to use website. It is user frindly and has recently been revamped. Although it has penty of members it is surprising how many people have yet to try a cashback site.
Now Topcashback has a good reputation. It guarantees that you will get the full 100% of the cashback awarded without them taking a percentage. So if you are to get 5% cash back, from your spend, then that is what you will receive.
Negatives
As always there are some negatives.
If for instance your expected cashback does not appear in your acount what can you do? Well you can raise a ticket with Top cashback and 9 times out of 10 the issue will be resolved. Occasionally though it will not be. If that happens you have not truly lost out if you were going to buy anyways. You can add you experiences to the site and chalk it up to experience. Remember to mke a note and not buy from that firm again.
If you are in a rush you may think that buying via the cashback site is more trouble than its worth. It takes a little longer, but only just.
Watch how your cookies are set, In order for your purchases to be registered. You usually get a warning if the cashback appears to be failng to track.
Cashback may take some time to be payable. This depends upon the retailer. As long as it is showing in your accout it will be cleared in due course.
Saving money
Positives
On the whole using a reputable cash back site has more positives than negatives.
Topcashback has popular retailers such as PC World, Currys, Comet, HMV, Hilarys Blinds and so many more retailers.
You can search by product or retailer.
Joinng the site is quick and easy, plus it is secure.
Joining and remaining a member will cost you nothing.
There are always special offers and deals on the home page.
Apart from being able to claim cash back you will find money off extras on the site too. This promotional codes often apply as well as the cashback.
The lowest cashback may only be 1% but that is still better in your pocket than the retailers. Higher cash back amounts can be 12%.
You can claim your cahback even if the amount is quite small.
These days you can choose an Amoxon voucher if you prefer. If you do so it wil be to a slightly hifgher value than the cash.
Members can gain from referrals too.I f you fancy joining Topcashback simply go to the site. If you are happy for me to gain from your referral please follow the link. The choice is yours.
Finally
It does not matter how you join, but if you shop online you should seriously consider joining a cashback site. If your goods will cost you a delivery charge it may pay for that at the very least.
Either way it is like an additonal discount in your pocket, and especialy these days we all need that.
Note: Topcashback is available in the UK and the US
