Zebra print goes great in the bedroom and there are so many ways you can decorate a room with zebra bedroom stuff!

Using zebra bedroom stuff for decorating is a great way to express your individuality. You can be wild and crazy or you can be cute and girly. There is lots of zebra bedroom decor items that add a secondary color, too. Pink or purple are common and make for a great girly bedroom but personally, I love anything with red in it.

And we're not just talking about bedding here - there are lots of items to choose from so you can have a great time decorating and adding your own unique touch to your room.

Tips for Decorating with Zebra Print

One of the biggest mistakes that people make when decorating with zebra print bedroom stuff is that they don't think it out very well. They just go and buy a bunch of random zebra print stuff and then they aren't sure what to do with it all.

Here are 3 tips to think about if you are planning on doing a zebra print bedroom:

Focal pieces are important. These are bigger pieces or attention getting pieces. Choose one or two of these at most.
After you have your focal pieces, you can pick out a few accent pieces. They should compliment the focal pieces but they don't have to exactly match.
Black and white is usually too simple for a room decor so pick out a secondary color. Pink is great for a fun a girly room but, as I mentioned I love red, too. Even brown or blue can go well with a zebra print themed room.

Get a Grip on the Time with a Zebra Wall Clock

Even though your bedroom should be a place you can relax you don't want to get too relaxed. You need to keep track of the time so that you don't miss things like school or work or a date with that hot guy you just met.

You can use a cool zebra themed clock to keep track of the time but still keep your room fun and funky. You don't have to be all practical just because you want to know what time it is!

Furnish Your Room with Zebra Print Bedroom Items

If you have a large room you might want to add some cool spaces to sit and store items. These a bigger items and could be a great focal point in the room. Unfortunately, I've never had a room this big but if I did I would love to have a zebra print chaise and ottoman. Especially one of those ottomans that had storage space inside. Those are great for storing extra blankets or magazines or just special keepsakes that you don't want to have out on display.

Light it Up!

I think lighting is a really important element to a bedroom. You need to have different kinds of lighting for different mood. Zebra print lamps are great because they are functional and decorative at the same time. You have to have a bedside lamp for sure - for your late night reading of course. And then you should have a lamp that gives a lot of light to the room, too.

Dress the Bed

Finally, you have to have cool bedding for your zebra print themed bedroom. This is likely the place where you will spend the most time in your room. It's got to be comfy and you should feel like a Queen when you climb in between the sheets at night. You can choose from many different styles so browse around and have some fun with it.
