Walking Your Way to Health
Wishing you all the best with your move. I don't think that I could cope well with the Florida heat. I need a cooler climate.

I live in a bad neighborhood, but I will be moving soon. Also it's ungodly hot in Florida! Not fun for walking unless it's along the beach... which I plan to be doing soon!

Walking Your Way to Health
When my husband was ill 37 years ago, the doctors at the hospital recommended walking to regain health. I walk to keep fit. My daughters in law aim for 5000 steps a day to keep healthy. It is the best exercise and what's more ? It is free.

Walking Your Way to Health
I love to walk, but don't have a good place for it at the moment. When I lived in New Hampshire I enjoyed it and got a good workout on all those hills. I feel much better when I do walk, or get some sort of good exercise. For now the ...

What strikes me is that whenever the deer race across the paths there has never been, to the best of my knowledge, a collision between them and a human.

Deer at Dunham Massey, Cheshire
Frank Yes but tell that to the deer . :) Humans keep off their patch but the deer just wander everywhere. It's a lovely experience.

Deer at Dunham Massey, Cheshire
It is worth noting that there is a section of the park where humans may walk the paths, but are asked not to stray among the trees, as this is the sanctuary reserved for deer. You can still see them among the trees, sometimes standing, sometimes ...
