I live in the Arizona desert, it's hot and dry, but a family has built a kins domain here. They grow figs, peaches, pomegranates, quince and lots more! It almost doesn't seem possible! Lovely article, thanks for sharing.

Leafy greens make a greenish soup, which tastes nice. I like to balance them out with onion and/or potato. Onion makes for a darker soup, quite tasty. Recently I have used purple sprouting broccoli in my soup.
