Early Spring Colors in the Yard: Blue, Lavender, Purple, Yellow
I love the colors of all these flowers. I'd love to see them all blooming in my garden. We call a different flower "baby's breath." I don't know its real name, but it has delicate white blossoms with a lacy look.

Crowdsourced Funding for Adoption or Fertility Treatment: Good Idea or Not?
I think it is fine to raise funds from THOSE YOU KNOW. I would not contribute if I did not know this couple because it could be a scam.

Cefalu, Sicily - The Town with Everything
The photographed ceramics I pictured are not very good as these were truly peasant dishes for sale in a mountain market. The ones in the shops (which I should have photographed) are brightly ...

Medieval Saxony: Gortitz and Bautzen
I like the quality of light in your photos. Reminds me of my own days visiting Germany, when it wasn't sunny but not raining either. Cloudy but very pleasant.

Cefalu, Sicily - The Town with Everything
These are all great ideas. Orange rind in dark chocolate. Yum :) I also like the ceramics you're showing. Do they also make them square-shaped? I would definitely enjoy a ceramic piece like that in the kitchen, but I've never seen them as ...

John Singer Sargent - Exhibition at London's National Portrait Gallery
I, too, buy postcards when I visit museums. I sometimes look at them. I also like fridge magnets with artworks. I used to put my postcards in photo albums, but had to crop them because they were too large.

Medieval Saxony: Gortitz and Bautzen
I only wish my photos were better. I dropped my camera while I was there and although it continued to take pictures, it affected the balance somewhat and they all came out as though I was leaning at 180 degrees when I took them. This ...

Cefalu, Sicily - The Town with Everything
For myself I buy foodstuffs, Mira. I always bring home some fresh green figs, orange rind dipped in dark chocolate, limoncello (favourite drink), lots of flavoured pestos, and almonds and pistachios. Ceramics are a big thing in Sicily as are ...

Thanks, Mira.
I am still thinking about some of the paintings and sketches I saw, thanks to the postcards I bought (although I always tell myself not to buy these as they eventually end up in ...

Medieval Saxony: Gortitz and Bautzen
You made me want to visit these two places. The architecture in Görlitz does, indeed, look impressive. And Bautzen with its Sorben culture is intriguing. First time I hear about the Sorbs!
