Diana Gabaldon's Outlander - A Classic, Swashbuckling, Historical Tale (with Time Travel Too)
I half envy you, because you've got all of this magic to come. There's nothing quite like starting out on a series that you know is wonderful, and knowing that you get to enjoy it all for the first time.

Travel Writing: A New Book that Lets you in on all the Secrets
This really is a good book, the nuts and bolts are all spelled out. Who is your favourite author for "scene setting", i.e. using the place as an essential part of the story? Mine will always be James Lee Burke.

Travel Writing: A New Book that Lets you in on all the Secrets
I'd be curious to read a book such as this one. Perhaps this one. I see it's $7.69 on Kindle, which is not too bad. And you're right about novels! :)

Have You Considered a Green / Natural Burial?
AbbyFitz - Two of my friends had their parent cremated and then they planted a tree in an outdoor ceremony, mixing the ashes into the dirt. I like this idea because the tree is the tombstone.

Have You Considered a Green / Natural Burial?
I've heard about green funerals and I find them intriguing. The only think I don't like about it is there's no headstone. I like the idea of having a permanent memorial. My father was way ahead of the green funeral movement. He used to always ...

How to Cut Your Own Hair - Long Hair
I have cut my own hair for some time now about the way you used to do, so these extra tips for bangs and long hair sound like something I can do. Of course, I figure if I mess it up badly that you will fly here to fix the hair-do, right?
