Alexandria - My Mum pointed out that this 'ancient' and 'mystical' Celtic wisdom pretty much dates from the 1970s. Until then, no-one had tea-bags, therefore the order in which they were taken out wasn't an issue. LOL

Now here is an odd fact. If you are growing oyster mushrooms on tissue roll , you soak the tissue in cold tea. The fungal mycelium is nourished by the tea. Mental picture of a mushroom drinking a cuppa!
