I agree to some extent that there may be a dependency culture amongst some. But what Thatcher did was to remove a quite a bit of financial support without offering these women any support into employment or education. There was no help ...

Chickamauga Bigfoot: Old Green Eyes as a Sasquatch
I considered Mothman, while I was looking into this. The hairiness swayed me into Sasquatch though. I really need to refresh my memory on Mothman, as it's been a few years since I last read about him myself.
