Great read, I had not thought about this before. I always tip big, I worked as a waitress while going to college and understand how difficult and demanding it is. I really appreciate others waiting on me. I enjoyed learning from your foreigners guide. :)K

Oh wow. My family has some old black and white photos that are probably from around this time. Now I wonder if the people being photographed... were alive. *shivers*

Excellent article. I'm American and I know of many Americans that refuse to tip. That shows no class. I have a friend who doesn't tip her nail girl or her hairdresser. When I called her on it, she said, "I'm not even going to get that started." When I asked another friend about this, she said, "You mean you're suppose to tip your hairdresser." lol I don't tip at places like Starbucks even though they have a container for tips on the counter when you pay. If I have to go up and get the coffee rather than them bringing it to me, I'm not going to tip. There's no law that says you have to tip, but believe me you're being talked about and not in a nice way when you leave the establishment if you don't.

Very cool, My daughters Dad bought them all the tonka toys, dump truck, tractors, bull dozer, back hoe and the like. They loved digging in the dirt and playing with them. Now they are fond keep sakes. These John Deere toys for girls are really cool, love the pink. :)K

This is a great step by step. I'll be coming back once I get my photography site up and running. This will be very helpful.

Sandyspider, Glad to give you a laugh <)

Sounds good to me. Those airstream trailers are a real collector's item.

I am going to keep clam and keep my British Accent to myself. This was fun and seeing all the funny posters and t-shirts.

Good post. It seems to be a good idea to take advantage of a quality set of knives in the event that your old set is worn out. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Mira! Nitric acid is used to test for gold that's 14k or under. Aqua-Regia is used to test for gold that's 14k or higher. Aqua-Regia is a solution of 3 parts hydrochloric acid to 1 part nitric acid.

@selecteddee Glad it was helpful.

Cleaning has always been hard for me. I hate it. These are great suggestions for those of us who didn't grow up watching their mothers clean.

I have a whole forum of people beta-testing various formats, then listing the issues. I'm then having hours of fun cracking the way into removing those issues. No doubt there will be more to come!

Looking forward to seeing your ebooks out there. I'll be able to say that I knew you when... <3

I was in my element! I like nothing more (except writing maybe :p ) than being thwarted by software, and working out how to make it do what I want it to. :D I'm glad that it's useful to you too.

And I'm looking forward to seeing your series in ebook format, so I can download and read them.

Very good facts about anxiety, it seems so many suffer from severe stress and anxiety with the trouble times we've been facing. I've noted a higher degree of anxiety in our youth. Hopefully folks will learn to identify the problem dealing with it accordingly. Great and helpful article you've written. Thanks :)K
