I'm sorry for your loss. :(

Here in the U.S., at least where I live, you can check a box when getting your pedestrian's, learner's, and driver's permits and when your information goes through the system you'll automatically be added to the donor's list like Ember said. Our licenses here have a little heart symbol on them if we checked yes, not just a sticker.

The way I see it, I'm dead. What good are my organs to me if I'm dead? None whatsoever. I've given blood when I was alive, so how is giving organs when I'm dead any different? Again, none whatsoever. I'd just be happy I was able to save a few more lives even after I was gone.

I don't know, maybe that's just how it is here. I know my parents and grandmother all have the symbol as well. Maybe it's a culture thing. :/

Everyone loves cupcakes, right? These are so cute!

I'm not earning there yet, but I'm just a Squidlet!

If you are never going to have another type of shell fish in the tank copper works very well. They sell drops with copper or you can use a clean piece of copper piping. Just place it in your tank and watch the snails die off. If you plan on having shell fish later or move to salt water at a later date. The copper can latch onto the glass and come out later and kill off wanted shell fish or coral in salt water tanks. The copper pipe worked very well in my small 5 gallon tank.

Jo, Thank you for providing this site. I am 58 and have always been deaf in my left ear. Visiting this site, I learned more about why I have difficulty hearing when there is background noise. I could never understand why I still had trouble hearing someone speaking when I put the source of the background noise on my left side. It of course makes it easier, but the problem does not completely go away.
Switching to another topic, I don't know if anyone else feels this way, I resent when people say 'bad ear'. When people ask me which is my bad ear, I always tell them that I don't have a bad ear. I don't ear in my left ear.

He was my old sweetie. I was so happy to have him back.

My parents also told me not to borrow so many books from library. So I started to read REALLY big books with small letters.
About being a full time writer, I can tell as being myself for over two decades now (I hope this doesn't sound I am old, because I am not!), I can tell you every job, full time, part time, every exam, passed or failed, every human being, well known or only a short episode in your life, everything adds to who you really are. And nobody is 100 percent writer. As you said you are full other things and writing is only one way to express yourself to others.
Wish you good luck on your life journey:)

I was never a Beatles fan because I like slightly faster music but I know most of their albums and I even wrote an article for a magazine about a decade ago. In my opinion they were special for two reasons:
1. They had a courage to made every album in totally new style, completely different than previous album.
2. They succeeded with every album.
I don't think any other band in history so successfully experimented with different music styles. The closest would be probably Blondie, but their albums didn't make so steady sales.
Just my two cents, really:)

I am glad it all turned out well for you and Rueben. He sure looks like a great dog and friend. Thanks for sharing all the tips for all the dog searchers.

Nope, I don't really like this kind of social networking because it can be really time consuming and I don't have time to start again what I have already done in Facebook and in other places. But I believe it have already achieve some impact on rankings in search engines rankings. So maybe I should learn about G+ after all... Thanks for your review:)

You have some amazing information here. I hope this research pans out and we end up with being able to regrow our teeth. I also have no wisdom teeth. We're in the same exclusive club.

I know squirrels can be real pest, but they really are adorable:) For a town kid like me they are so rare I just can't think about them different.

You're welcome. Just think that, by the time you see what's under there, it'll be time for it all to go!

I am sure I will need to take some kind of anti-nausea medication before I start shaking mine or taking the keys off! Thanks for the pointers!

2uesday, very good point, kids do learn fears from adults and other people as well.
