WOW very cool, interesting and exciting. I was in a traumatic car accident this past July, had c-disc 3,4,5 and 6 repaired and now have a few bits and pieces of titanium in my spine. I recently completed 9 months of therapy and am still left in considerable pain. I take no pain meds, opted to never do that. I allow pain to determine what I can and cannot do. Anyway long story short, my neurologist suggest I seek acupuncture for pain management and to continue my healing, just learning about it and was very happy to find you here. Welcome to Wizzley, I look forward to learning more about acupuncture, particularly Japanese acupuncture in the very near future. :) K

I have very much fallen into the trap of comfort foods and telling myself i've "earned" some junk food sometimes. But I try to quickly remind myself there are other ways to reward myself. I once saw the quote "Don't reward yourself with food, you're not a dog!" And it rang true to me. Another quote that I replay to myself when about to eat chips or cookies, is "Your stomach is not a trash can"
