Eco Laundry

Thanks Holistic Health! I think it's a smart thing because it is ecologically friendly, simplifies the process of doing laundry and very safe for the skin. :)

What Started the Hatfield and McCoy Family Feud - How Many People were Killed?

How could you look at a little baby and name him 'Devil'?

Living with Loving and Supporting Your Artist

My artist is my girlfriend I live with. She has all sorts of tool and materials, and she is creating great art.
Art is beautiful thing, and thank your for this article, Katie! It's good to be back to read your articles! ;)

Eco Laundry

What great tips! Laundry uses up a lot of resources getting it done in a 'greener' way is always a good thing.

Sleep and Health

@susanjill I've been thinking about buying one of those mattresses myself once the current one wears out. Thanks so much for your support!

Applications of the Death Penalty: Lethal Injection

"The nurse should provide interventions to relieve pain and other symptoms in the dying patient even when those interventions entail risks of hastening death. However, nurses may not act with the sole intent of ending a patient's life even though such action may be motivated by compassion, respect for patient autonomy and quality of life considerations."
I'm assuming that the thing forbidding the nurses from participating is this provision in their code of ethics.. The "patient" in this case, though he may be healthy, should be considered as dying since he's most probably going to be dead in a short time. By helping with inserting the necessary catheters, the nurse is saving the prisoner from being stabbed repeatedly, thus relieving pain. And since the nurse wouldn't be the one inserting the drugs to kill him, she's not acting "with the sole intent of ending a patient's life". Then again, my interpretation is most probably rather different from others...
Better solution (in the event that death is a must): Having alternative methods of death sentence. Maybe hanging, or something else, for cases where lethal injection is problematic (allergies, collapsed veins, obesity)... While not being the best way to handle criminals, death sentence, imo, is far more humane than the torture of being imprisoned for life.

Hunger Games Party Ideas

@mm; I few Hunger Games drink ideas include:
Water served in inexpensive canteens like the Tributes carried in the arena
<a href="

Hot Chocolate that the Tributes were served in the Capitol
Vanilla Milkshakes served with a straw accented with a white rose to represent President Snow
Red "Blood" Fruit Punch

Hope this helps!

Sleep and Health

Great article, I personally need my sleep or I get cranky. We bought a temperpedic bed a few years back and it really helped me to sleep soundly. I am also into holistic health and look forward to reading more of your articles.

Starting with Nothin' and Ending up with Somethin' | My Journey Online

@lou Those light bulb moments stick with us! LOL Thanks to you and a lot of the RocketMom's for answering those questions. It's the only way I know to learn -- ask those that have been in my shoes. Thanks Lou!

What Started the Hatfield and McCoy Family Feud - How Many People were Killed?

What a great subject to write about. I never really knew what these two families were fighting about.

Eco Laundry

Charlotte, Hi there ... I am here because of you! Thank you for letting me know about Wizzley. I am not one to whip out articles quickly so I have always stayed on Hubpages to accumulate my writings ... but when you said that it was a great place to introduce products ... I had to try it out. :) As you can tell this is one product I tell everybody about.

Insomnia Help To Get You To Sleep

Katie, I should have added some OTC medications. Benadryl helps some people sleep but Sudafed usually keeps us awake. Try eating more local honey in the spring and fall when plants are pollenating and see if that doesn't help your allergies.

Flora, I have to cut caffeine out altogether. Now I mostly drink water and in the morning decaf green tea.

Agreed! *raises pitchfork with you* The game is always much nicer to play when all of the bots get nuked.

Runescape News: Teenager Found Guilty of Virtual Theft

Thank you for your comment, Cuneiform. May I ask which arguments were childlike? It was the real life crimes which were ultimately charged, I'm assuming that you saw a case there.

Will Capitalist Horing Be Jagex's Downfall?

Ken - I did sign an NDA, but it was in plain English. It didn't stop me criticizing SoF nor their investors. It covered spoilers, player safety and game security. I read it over and over again, but I was happy to sign it. It was more common sense than dark intrigue, which was a relief for me!

Kara: I did the free ones, when it first came out and was merely annoying rather than insidious. Yes, they were boring. I wouldn't dream of spending money on them.

Ken: I saw his RSOF post with the same information. Trevorghost is turning into quite the hero of this protest.
