Thank you for commenting. The Irish stew was in a deep dish. It was slow-cooked and full of ingredients. It is traditionally served with soda bread. I had to leave it as I had not paid for an extra bag on the plane home!

I went to Dublin for the day yesterday and I had the best Irish Stew I ever had. It was a huge portion and of course I could not manage it. I took the accompanying soda bread home with me in my handbag! The portion is pictured above.
