Christmas Clothes for Baby Boys

This gingham shirt and corduroy trouser set would be lovely at any time of the year, but a Christmas motif is added too.

A snugly warm, knitted tank top is in festive red, with an applique reindeer design grinning at us from the front.  Applique appears to be this year's favorite for baby wear.  I'm finding a lot of the most popular items are using that device. 

Then, once the festive period is over and the spring warms us up, remove the tank top and further party-wear can be found in just the shirt and pants alone.

If the shirt seems too fussy for your little one, then Mud Pie also do a Christmas set with the reindeer applique on a sweater. 

Of course, there's nothing inherently seasonal about the corduroy pants, so you may want to replace them with some already in your infant boy's wardrobe.  If that's the case, then you might as well just buy the reindeer sweater.  That option is available too!

I do hesitate on repeating Mud Pie's information that the gorgeous Santa dungarees will fit boys aged three years old.

The overalls run very small for their stated sizes.  Some customers have been left disappointed, as their purchases wouldn't fit their own child.  For this reason, I would recommend getting a size or two above what you would ordinarily need.

However, the sizing aside, the quality of the Santa Claus overalls has never been in question.  It's bright, cheerful and perfect for Christmas day.

Though it looks like it's covered in buttons, that's for fashion only.  Access for changing and diapers is quickly achieved through cunningly hidden snap press-studs!

Oh bless him!  All of these clothes are all well and good, but until you see a little one in them, you never get the full effect.

And the result is cuteness personified.

The applique jolly Santa face, with 'I Believe' legend, is the blatant Christmas angle here, but there's more not immediately apparent in the image.  The red, corduroy pants have tiny Christmas trees embroidered all over them!

It may be because I can actually see a baby boy wearing them, but this is my favorite Christmas boy's clothing thus far. 

Religion aside, this time of year is all about the children and the magic. That 'I Believe' will have all adults looking on and smiling in anticipation. Come Christmas morning, there is no doubt that that belief in Father Christmas will be amply rewarded.
