Colorado Ornaments and Memorabelia

by MBC

This is mostly a Christmas article featuring holiday ornaments themed around the State of Colorado, but I also have year round gift suggestions for those who love the High Country.

I'm so proud to live in Colorful Denver Colorado! I write about things to do here in my home of Colorado but this article has a focus on treasures to help you relive your trip when you return home. We have the greatest Colorado sports and sports teams on earth here and I'm not very biased.

We are a young state with the average age (median age) of only 33.7 while the country's median is 37.2. We have active bikers, hikers, campers, swimmers, skiers and more.

Sports paraphenalia make great gifts for the kids, your boss or co-worker or any other sports fanatic. There are also some other ideas besides just Christmas ornaments. Think of those people who ski or snowboard. We offer ideas here for lots of fun stocking-stuffers here for them as well.

So Deck the Halls and Happy Holidays to all.

Gifts to Remind You of Your Time Spent Here

We have such wonderful things to see and do here in Colorado.  The Columbine is our state flower and it is a wildflower which is not found too much elsewhere.  You would have to be here in the summer to see the Columbine.

For those who come in the winter we have all kinds of winter sports: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling etc.

Or for those that are older, simply taking a drive and taking photographs of the fabulous scenery is a year-round activity. I'm on my way up to Winter Park, Colorado this coming week and I can't wait to get some mountain photos of the snow.

The Denver Outlaws is one of our Lacrosse Teams

Denver (actually the suburb of Glendale) is now home to the Denver men and women's lacrosse teams' new state-of-the-art facility.   The Barton Lacrosse Stadium has the capacity to hold 2,000 spectators. It was the first Division I lacrosse only stadium. We are very proud of this facility and look forward to some fabulous lacrosse coming to our state.

We are very proud of our sports teams such as our football team the Denver Broncos.

Colorado is also home to our professional hockey team the Colorado Avalanche and our professional Basketball Team the Nuggets, and our Baseball team the Colorado Rockies.

That does not even mention our college teams. Gift your dog a sports t-shirt this year.
