Moving on, of the 10 different diaper bags that were looked at for this review, one came out on top by a long mile, and did so for the following reasons:

Basically it looked like a man-bag, and nothing like the usual type of purse/handbag that tend to be found on the shoulders of women the world over.

You can choose the ever popular Cross and Skull design, the Tribal one or even the very generic yet stylish Pro Coffee brown. The variety isn't endless, but t is inventive, and surely one of the designs will appeal to the man in your life.

There wasn't much not to like. Having given the bag a good going over, the minor faults were:

• The diaper wipes pocket could be better, and it's probably better to keep the wipes in what they arrive in
• There are so many different designs, it's tough trying to decide on one only. Is that a negative? Not sure

Clearly there was much to like about the bag, so here's the lowdown on what's good about the DadGear bag:

• It’s great value for money

• The interior pockets and spacing are generally well thought out and practical

• The small changing pad might be diminutive but it is functional

• The overall look is truly appealing to the average man
• It looks nothing like a diaper bag, and yet that's exactly what it is

In all it’s a hit. It’s got everything it needs without looking even slightly feminine. Should you buy it? Yes, if your partner pulls his face every time you hand him your choice of diaper bag.
