David Beckham Bodywear To Debut At H&M February 2012

Though wife Victoria Beckham is better known in the fashion world, David Beckham is releasing his Bodywear line through H&M clothing stores next February.

David Beckham, an English footballer (or soccer player for the Americans), is launcing a new clothing line for men in early 2012.  According to the Huffington Post, David Beckham Bodywear is a line of men's underwear that will be available exclusively at H&M clothing stores.  

Mr. Beckham began designing the line over a year ago.  He had the styles designed, but needed a partner to bring the line into stores and available to the public.  WIth their ultra trendy styles, H&M makes a good retail partner for David Beckham Bodywear.  H&M has stores all over the world, making it a good opportunity for David Beckham and his new line. 

David Beckham knows his career as a professional soccer player can't last forever, so he is slowly moving to the world of fashion and fragrance for men.  He is also launching a new men's fragrance called Homme, his third men's fragrance.  His fragrance line coupled with David Becham Bodywear will give him a new career opportunity when his soccer days are over.  Although he feels he will always be best known for soccer, he wants to get his feet wet in other longer lasting businesses.  

David Beckham got the idea for a well-made and good-looking men's underwear line after working with Armani.  He saw a real need in the clothing world, and set to fill that need.  He also saw that this type of clothing has great potentional for high sales, leading to high revenue.  This is not his first time in fashion; in 2009, he collaborated with Adidas to release a sports related clothing line.  

As if soccer, fashion designing, and men's fragrances weren't enough, David has also modeled and been the spokesperson for numerous companies including Motorola and Diet Pepsi.  

H&M is a Swedish based clothing company.  It is world-famous for it's cutting edge fashion choices for men, women, children, and teens.  H&M operates over 2,300 stores in 41 countries around the world.  

David's wife, Victoria Beckham, is a famed fashion designer, but she is not the only fashion mogul in the family.  She may have given a few bits of advice, but this line is all David.  It hasn't been announced if Mr. Beckham himself will be modeling his new line for advertisements, but we can only hope that he does.
