Decorating for Fall

Changing a door wreath to one with a fall design is easy if you use a hook over the door.  Just lift out your summer wreath and replace it with one of fall colors.  There are many to choose from. 

Fall centerpiece abound, and we have Thanksgiving to thank for that.  Pumpkins, in particular, are not only colorful, but can be large enough to be a focal point of a nice centerpiece.  Just add a few embellishments and your table will make all who visit feel more comfortable. 

When setting out centerpieces do not forget those smaller tables and mantles.  Use size appropriate pieces to add a splash of autumnal color wherever you can. 

Many homes have an inviting wreath on the door, but with door hooks that fit in a very tight space over a door available, it is possible to also add decorative wreaths indoors.  Look for seasonal colors, leaf shapes, and a touch of brown provided by artificial nuts.  Some also include berries of different colors. 

Flags placed in a garden are popular, and flags for fall can be easily found.  The nice thing here is a flag contains an image, so there is no restriction of the subject matter that is caused by size limitations.  The image might be a single tree, a stand of trees, or colorful food.  It might even be an image of a savory pie. 

There are abundant ways to decorate for fall.  The one thing that makes decorating fun and easy is that no matter what fall appropriate decorations you choose there will certainly be eye appealing color, and lots of it.
