Disney Cars - A Theme Party

Parties, especially those involving children, require food and beverages.  This means that you will need one or more table cloths, paper plates, paper cups, and napkins, along with plastic forks.    You must serve on something.  Party kits do exist with the Disney Cars theme containing everything you need except for a tablecloth.  In fact, there are even plastic spoons for ice cream.  This is an excellent starting place. And, there will be no worry about dishes being broken, and no dish washing after the party ends.

The party kit has enough for serving eight.  Buy as many as you need, and make certain you have a few extra sets.  Children are a bit careless, and may well drop a plate or cup.  Be prepared for emergencies.

The easiest thing to do is find a decoration pack that contains multiple decorations that you can use.  You can get decorations that hang from the ceiling, or table decorations.  Outdoor parties allow for fewer options, since there is not likely to be a ceiling from which you can hang things.

If the party is indoors, peel and stick wall decorations are also a nice touch.  You can get a set of Disney Cars decals rather inexpensively, and simply discard them after the party, without making holes in the walls.

A nice main decoration is a large, theme consistent balloon. These can be added to the table, and allowed to float above the children, or can be taken away by the children as an object with which to play.  Finding helium, which is safe from fire, can be bought at a party supply sore in a small container.  You probably will not need a large tank, so look in your location for the smaller ones.  Or, you may be able to pay to have your balloon inflated by the party supply store.

Party favors should be inexpensive, yet fun.  Look for a party favor that will be used with delight for at least a short period of time.  If you are happy with those that match the theme, and find them within the budget, they should be the first choice.  For a theme party everything should be consistent with the theme, even the details.  So, consider keeping to the theme with the party favors.
