However, you may want to get some of the latest books to relax with and enjoy. Again Amazon provide access to a massive range of eBooks Bestsellers which you can search through. Do take a look at the Amazon Kindle Store for more information and your eBooks.

When you are ready to go eBook shopping for your new Kindle or other eBook Reader then you will be pleased to hear that the Amazon Store isn't the only place! Because the Kindle supports a wide range of file formats you have a range of places to get your eBooks from including many that are free of charge!

How To Buy eBooks

Using The Amazon Kindle Store

Let's first take a look at how to buy eBooks from the Kindle Store.  In many ways it works in much the same way as the normal bookstore at Amazon. You are able to search for specific book titles or authors, you can browse the bestseller lists in different categories.

Buying eBooks really could not be simple. Once you have found the eBook you want you buy the title using Amazon's "1-click" service. If you have not used it before, then Amazon guides you through the process.

Once it is all set up then your future purchases will be able to be made a lot more easily.

Once you are set up you simply select the device (your Kindle or Kindle Apps on other devices) that you want to send the eBook to and Amazon will deliver itwithin 60 seconds!

That is of course assuming you have your Kindle switched on of course!

If you are shopping on your computer and don't have access to WiFi or the 3G network then your Kindle will not be able to receive the book immediately.

You can either wait for it to delivered when you are back in range or alternatively you can select the option to have it delivered to your computer.

You can then transfer your new eBook to your Kindle using the USB lead that is supplied with the Kindle when you are ready to.

Returning eBooks to Amazon

Using The Amazon Kindle Store

You might think that with eBooks being digital that means that you can't return them! That is not the case. Obviously Amazon will be monitoring if people are taking advantage of their policy to get free eBooks to read but the Amazon Kindle store has a 7 day returns policy.

If you contact Amazon's Customer Service within 7 days of your purchase, they will issue a refund and you will no longer have access to that eBook on your Kindle.

Getting eBooks For Free

How To Get Kindle eBooks for Free

With the Kindle's ability to support a wide range of format there are a number of different ways of legally getting eBooks for free to read on your Kindle!

The obvious place to start is at the Kindle Store, which has a whole section of free eBooks that you can choose from.  For me this has been one of the easiest ways to get eBooks for free.

You will also find a number of other  websites, such as Project Gutenberg, which list free eBooks that you can download legally. What you do is download them to your computer and then using your USB Lead copy them over to the Kindle.

I don't have a reader yet, but this is a very useful article for those looking for good deals.

I have enjoyed many of the free and 99 cent books. I also use ebooks from Booklending, where I can lend or borrow books. I take full advantage of the free samples too. I never buy a book straight out - always read the sample first. I like that option.

I have yet to buy an eBook let alone a reader. I like the idea, but between a full time job and trying to write online, I don't even have time to pick up a book these days, although I do love reading. Excellent page though. maybe one day I will find time to read again.

I buy them mostly from Amazon.co.uk - I live in the UK so can't buy ebooks from Amazon.com although I can buy regular books there.

Nowhere yet as haven't got one, but, would love to get one, hopefully, if and when finances improve. Loved reading this, amazing what happens today. If you can get one free, then why buy a book at all?
