It's still not up to the bigger yard debris but it will make short work of the above. It's also pretty quiet, looks and feels fairly solid and won't clog up - providing you don't feed it yard waste by the shovel load. It's a recommended purchase if you need a mid-range shredder chipper machine. It's compact, easy to operate and reliable. A great buy for light to medium use.

You're getting a machine that will ably deal with heavier work - the usual leaves, twigs and brush, plus sticks and branches up to 2 1/2 inches in diameter. It chips wood into fairly small pieces and a combination of leaves and twigs will produce a fine mulch - great for keeping the plants cosy through the winter.

It's powered by a 13 amp motor and shreds by way of trimmer line. It weighs in at 20lbs and yet it's sturdy enough to turn your leaves into mulch without issue. The WORX will reduce down to 1/11 of the original volume - which means you'll be left with one bag of mulched leaves rather than 11.

It's incredibly easy to assemble and a breeze to store away off season. The mulching line is pretty simple to replace and, all told, the WORX is an awesome leaf shredder for its class. Should you buy it? If you intend to use it for what it's designed for - wet and dry leaf shredding, then yes. For the price tag, you'll have an impressive yard tool on your hands.
