Synopsis: Hanna (Ashley Benson) goes off the grid in an effort to prove Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) is behind Sara Harvey's (Dre Davis) murder and is the one terrorizing the PLLs.
Meanwhile, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) find a smoking gun but must hold onto the evidence long enough to take it to the police.
Final Thoughts From the Pretty Little Liars Episode "The Wrath of Kahn"

Thoughts from the season 7 television episode that first aired August 23, 2016.
OK, I admit it is Starting to Look Bad for Noel
After all, Hanna caught him disposing of Sara's cell phone and, thanks to the poorly hidden flash drive Spencer and Emily found, we now know he was helping Charlotte (Vanessa Ray) hold the PLLs captive. And, let's face it, his last words to Hanna did seem a bit like a confession.
There was also the revelation the adoption papers for Mary Drake's other child were signed by Noel's dad. Though that was pretty much the only evidence Aria (Lucy Hale) was able to get from that document since everything else, including, apparently, the baby's gender, was redacted.
But, is He Really the Person They Are Looking For?
I do think he's up to something and, based on the preview for next week's summer finale, it looks like Jenna (Tammin Sursok) is helping him. But, there is just something lacking as far as the evidence is concerned.
For one, what was his motive for killing Sara? They were both Charlotte's accomplices and seemed to be on the same page as far as finding her killer goes. And, while there is, admittedly, the possibility of him being concerned she would tell people he was involved with kidnapping the PLLs, he had five years to silence her. Why now?
I also question Aria's adoption assumptions. I know Rosewood seems to be a bit lax as far as legal procedure goes. But, I think someone would question a judge overseeing his own adoption efforts.
Plus, considering it is a small town, the odds are he would be the signing judge regardless of who was actually adopting the child. In other words, his name on the paperwork is just as likely to be a coincidence.
Of course, the easy way of finding out would be to break into the courthouse and read the uncensored record. I suspect that might happen at some point.
Do These Girls Ever Learn?
They found a flash drive with damning evidence against Noel Kahn and not one of them thought to make a backup copy? Let's just say I saw the events that followed coming from a mile away.
Seriously, why do those girls keep entrusting Spencer when it comes to sensitive information like that? Her record for losing evidence is reaching staggering levels now. It's not rocket science. Three PLLs should equal three copies (with a fourth added when Hanna returns).
On the Subject of Flash Drives
None of them wanted to check out the other folders or videos? To be fair, I know they are traumatized from their experience and certainly aren't going to want to re-live it. But, given the evidence Spencer/Emily found within seconds, shouldn't they at least glance at the other files?
There could be a whole army of people who were involved and, at very least, I think Noel has another accomplice (I find it very hard to believe he was the one who stole the flash drive since he was busy with Hanna for a good chunk of the night and would have had to find out it was stolen first).
If they don't want to re-live their own experiences then all they have to do is watch each others' files. They won't be as traumatized and will have a much better understanding of their friends' personal experiences.
Of course, I'm still not convinced one of them isn't in on all of this (still looking at you Aria). So, watching those files might prove more than they are willing to face at the moment.
Final Opinion
Hanna's off-the-grid work was, to be honest, a pretty big letdown. All this episode proved is she is still the same person who always seems to make poor decisions and is in over her head. I only hope she redeems herself next week.
As for the rest of the episode, the revelation about Noel was kind of cool. But, there was a pretty big "been there, done that" vibe to it too, especially when it came to the flash drive. I really am not a fan of predictability and think the show is simply rehashing old plot lines.
