In the era of big boxes, a day for the little guy

This happened just a few minutes from where I live.  So very awesome.

Great story! Shopping locally and from the 'small guy' is something we do consciously since many years. And, funny enough, often the small corner shop is cheaper and provides better quality + customer service than the 'big name' shops ;-)

You know, it is interesting, but I have days where we have lots of people come in our brick and mortar store and not spend any money.  I usually think to myself on days like that if every person who walked in that day just spent $5, we would have had a good day.  Small amounts add up over time.  Smile
