What happened to everybody.

When I joined Wizzley about six months ago, there were a lot of people (almost everyone on my fan list) who were really cranking out the articles, but now they're all gone. Some people are probably on vacation, but most of them dropped out in April, May, and June. What happened?

Maybe they're into instant gratification.

I am still here, just publishing slowly, mostly working on my own sites ;-) SY

PS Don't forget, it is summer, people might be on vacation / holidays ;-)

Well I'm having a nice long holiday. Business is doing well so I decided to take plenty of time to enjoy my kids. 

By gratification, I mean getting my articles read. I haven't made any spare change yet. I get more here in 10 minutes than I get in a month at Squidoo.

I'm new to all this so I don't have much else to compare it to.

Glad you're still here Terri. Lil, I'm in the same boat. I was afraid you were making your millions and I wasn't. lol

I'd be ok with that but sadly, no. I'm just hanging around for the good company.

I'm still cranking away. :)   But I'm planning to be Terri when I grow up.

*pulls up a chair*  Good company is always good.

Well I don't know where I've posted it, but this year was always going to be a little sketchy for me because I didn't know how much time I'd be able to spend online with dad being so sick - makes planning pretty hard.

So far since we got back home (Australia) at the beginning of Jan I've been back to New Zealand (where my parents live) on three occasions for a total of 37 days with brief internet access for only a few of those days.   While I've been home it's been a case of trying to keep all of my other internet endeavours ticking along and feeling like I'm playing catch up all the time!

I'll also own up to having a few days where my mind has wandered off on it's own, but it's just one of my coping mechanisms and is why I'm glad I can earn enough income to work from home and not try and hold down a regular job on days when I can't concentrate.

I'm still here, but my Wizzley productivity is definitely not what it was

Brenda, I don't follow you as such, but since you're always active on the forums I do tend to read your Wizzes. Moreover I always check the list of newly published articles for something interesting to read. I give them thumbs up at times, but too busy to comment :( I was on a vacation as well :D

But, I'm going to begin writing again starting today

I have been checking in and out on Wizzley but have been very busy job searching and interviewing since we have moved to Richmond, VA.  Have found that there are not that many good paying electrical engineering or sales engineering jobs here as there were in Northern Virginia where we were.  So I may be going back to school to be a RN - Nurse.   I do need to write more since I enjoy it so much... I keep looking at my number of articles and thinking just a little more and I will be at 100!  Just can't find the time to sit down and get it done with 4 kids and the job search going on.  Regardless, I am here behind the scenes reading everyone's great articles!
