I'm writing a history Wizzle about 1665-1666, but I'm struggling to find the sub-category in History!

Neither Stuart nor Restoration are listed, so I'm assuming its under its American name.  What is the American name for that period please?

Wow. That's a good question. I'm not a history expert but maybe it would be the Colonial Period here in the US?

That's the Colonial Period, there seems to be differences in the dates this covers, but the Stuart Period is well and truly in there.

From what I can gather the American Colonial period could've started anytime from 1492-1620s and ended at some stage between 1763-1776 depending on what sources you read.

As a disclaimer American History is most definitely not my strong point, give me British history every time Smile

Thanks for that. I'll check Colonial Period instead. :)

Understandable to not have a sub category as it pertains to English, Scots, Irish & Welsh history of politics, royalty and religion of that time.

Totally understandable. :)  Hence me wanting to know what it would be called here.

I've settled for 'Other History' in the finish, as i couldn't find an actual match for 1665-1666.

I must be going blind.  Colonial Period was there after all!  I went up and down that list last night and couldn't see it, hence shoving Eyam in Other History.

This morning, there it was.

I can't see for looking sometimes.
