I think it is really beautiful. I love the new look. It is a very attractive way to highlight everyone's pages. I am loving the visual of it. I did notice the different colored lines, super idea! Thanks, we all look very professional!

Were you guys planning to re-add the ability to grey background the monetize modules? My amazon (only one I've checked so far) has no option to shade the background- I like to use that to separate ads from content better... Simon? Hans? |

We'll roll out a new "small" update today, that includes several bug fixes and should speed up Wizzley a bit more. This update takes only a few minutes ... nothing to worry about. @Brandon: Referrer statistics will - again - include percentage :) I don't think we'll bring back gray module backgrounds for Amazon, Zazzle, etc. In most cases, the background looked rather bad - particularly when images were included, that had a white background - which is true for all images by Amazon and Zazzle. |

Thanks Simon :) Just published 3 wizzes after a long time - vacations over but still on Holidays from col so will be writing more. There were a few problems and I was getting 404 errors saying Wizzley doesn't exist and it happened quite a few times today. Not my cache or browser problem. Checked out the HP forums and someone mentioned the same problem 2-3 days ago. Check out my blog SEO for Dummies

Hi Simon, sucks about the grey background in monetization mods, overall mine looked fantastic with it, perhaps if I make a tutorial for it to show people how to use the facilities correctly? , sure some images get messed up but isn't that the authors responsibility not to create dumb looking mods? I worked with images that didn't mess up the box, but because of a bunch of writers who posted any ol thing I have to live without it? Just please don't take the background from anything else! I need it in images and text especially! My formatting depends on it in many cases... In other news... By the way that new stats page is powerful, just shockingly powerful- really cool... Chrome Glitches (A lot of people are starting to figure out chrome is one of the best browsers so...) ...FYI I switched to Google Chrome a few months back (and will never go back to FF) and most things work the same (only faster, less glitchier than FF) but there are some Wizzley issues that are driving me mad. 1. In Chrome (only) when I launch the HTML window to edit code in an article module, it shows up and shrinks the window to a 20 x 20 pixel (completely hiding any remnance of the window) I have to resize this EVERY TIME. I use this a lot so is there any way you could look into why it's doing this? 2. My top buttons often disappear, I'll be in there editing a text file and before I'm ready to leave (buttons WERE there when I opened the window) and ready to hit save, the green buttons disappear completely (like this forum post window looks at the top). I played with it and discovered the buttons are disappearing if I try to copy (to paste in a new capsule) the text directly from the edit window- I highlight what I want to cut to another text module and at that instant the mouse button comes back up- the buttons vanish (I saw them)... On chrome I didn't have to copy paste through html window (formatting is lost in my FF when I moved text, but in chrome all formatting stays)... There is no shortcut I can use to make that window save, all I could do was hit shift-F5 to reload the page the way it was (as to not lose work), my solution right now is going back to opening the html window and copying from there to paste elsewhere, but that shrinking window makes this a PITA (pain in the a...)... I haven't noticed any issues beyond those two so far... |

Ok, the new statistics appears to be working correctly now ... have a look. Jerrico, I know this Chrome-window-shrinking issue. It's really a bit annoying. I can't find anything about this on the web, so I just switched our editor to using inline popups. You need to reload the page to see them in action. It solves your problem, but we had some issue with them a long time ago. Maybe those are resolved by now. We'll see ... Unfortunately, I really can't reproduce the disappearing buttons. This bug has definitively highest priority. If you any other another clue ... let us know please :) I keep playing around with it. About Chrome: Loving it, totally! Firefox was the best for a very long time, but it became soooo slow and buggy over the past few years .... |

I'll give it a whirl right now... yes FF was the best for a long time, I clutched to it very tightly but the as of late freezups loading (chrome instant, FF 1 minute roughly!), I'm in love with the chrome browser now, but still need to iron out a few bugs like my favorite plugin for oops moments, Lazarus doesn't seem to be useful other than the skinny entry boxes/forms... the bigger ones don't seem to use it at all :( but that's a different discussion... Simon, that totally works (the window inline popups)... much nicer thanks! On the missing buttons have you tried opening a full text module then copying Highlight right click copy or (shift insert) part of the text... that's the "bomb" that breaks the buttons, not sure why but it's very consistent... and only so far happening when I do that. Great special effects (like apple products hehe) I also wanted to add to my review that the aesthetics don't stop at the cool overall shell of the site but in the little nuances you guys have applied from clicking on a comment that's grey (meaning it's not yet read) to the pop up controls (approve button), to the really cool yellow highlighting you apply to many areas from a new module being inserted to something being removed... has that cool iPhone feel to everything :) Kudos. Jerrico edit I just discovered something... It's not happening in shorter modules but rather when I move a large block of text into a module then want to select it and copy it to another (cut it into peices essentially)... what I just figured out is "Why" it's removing the buttons when I do this- turns out it's not the actual copy/paste function doing it but the highlight and scroll down. When I highlight text then highlight scroll (drag highlight down) once it surpasses the current on screen view of the content (starts scrolling down to highlight the rest of the copy in there), this triggers the window to scroll down, and with it the top buttons frame scrolls out. To test this I did the highlight in the up direction (from middle of text module to the top) and guess what scrolled back into existence? Yep... Seems your top buttons are tethered and react to the main text input window during scrolling down (not with the scroll bar or down arrow but when highlighting is applied and dragged off screen... Make sense? edit 2: ok back for more... I played with it and came to realize it's not specifically happening when I highlight scroll UNLESS (in either direction top or bottom) I reach the end of the text and persue pushing my mouse down/up past the edge of the page(by page I mean the module edit box). For example if I scroll down I generally hold my cursor just off the page to keep it going till it hits the bottom of the text, once it does that if I'm still giving the command to scroll with the mouse it affects the top buttons, they scroll out of existence as if they were on the page. When I scroll up the same thing happens but it's harder to scroll up to bring the buttons back (they scroll back down to normal) I have to grab a bunch of text and do it really fast up and to the left if an image is present... maybe this will give you some insight. If it can't be fixed at least I know the reason it's happening and can easily get out of it- before I was just boxed in with no way to save edits other than saving the content changes and reloading the page and reopening the module, pasting it in. Someone less experimental may never figure this out, however. Jerrico |

Simon! A question please do answer this. The stats traffic graph is it from the very start or just from the last updation? If its from the last update - I'd be really happy with my traffic from Google :D :D It looks great and thanks again for the changes. Jerrico talking about FF - It was the first browser I used (after a few months of IE) and only gave it up 3 months ago for Chrome as it kept lagging uncontrollably. I've been using FF from version 1 point something. Check out my blog SEO for Dummies

Lobobrandon, I would think the stats would be from a database (seperate from updates really) and thus when they plug in a new interface (UI) it's just that, a different way to graphically read the database (of built up stats data)... on FF , they really slowed me down, chrome is like the ferarri of browsers, fast as hell no issues- kinda like FF was after version 4 Jerrico |

Jerrico I asked it because after the recent major update, the graphs had to collect traffic from the very beginning again. But, these do look like the all time stats. I agree with the way you put it - The Ferrari of browsers :D Check out my blog SEO for Dummies

The chart line shows the actually detected visitors over the past 90 days. The pie chart (traffic sources), however, is indeed a bit different and has currently some deliberate "error" in it. For the update, we had to clear data about referrers and we started collecting them anew with the update. You see the distribution of traffic sources in percent since that day. The number of visitors shown in the pie chart is based on this percentage and the number of visitors during the past 90 days. For example: you have - let's say - 10.000 total visitors over the past 90 days (old data), and the percentage of visitors from Google accounts for 60 percent (data from the past 7 days!) -> the pie chart will then show you 60% / 6.000 visitors from Google. That means: for about 80 days to come, the number of visitors in pie chart is an extrapolation and may differ to some degree from the "correct" value. Short answer: no, the current number of visitors does not equal the visitors in the past week. It will correct itself automatically in the next weeks. |

Ok that's a great way to do it :) I understood it now and thanks for the explanation :) So the huge number of google visits are just because of the recent increase and not the actual numbers - haha and I was excited. But, I'm surely glad to know that my google traffic is on the rise now seeing the %age Check out my blog SEO for Dummies

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue (in Google Chrome) but last night my editor was in the twilight zone. Almost every time I click to add a module it adds 2, then neither of them will work. If I try to use one it will let me but they are somehow linked, if I try to delete the second one (one I didn't use at all yet) it deletes the first one (one I filled in) and the second one is a ghost in the machine, it cannot be deleted. The only way out is to refresh the page (which removes the ghost module). Anything else (i.e. trying to remove it) gives me an error at the top of the screen. It's bizzarre... Jerrico |

I'm not having your issue with modules, but I am having issues with photos. If I put in a photo and want to resize or move it, I get a second image. Sometimes when I click again it goes away, sometimes not. but to move or resize the original, I have to save the module and then edit it again. The second time it behaves.
