I have a confession, I've never used Ebay so I'm looking forward to someone writing a good tutorial on How To Ebay.
It works just like the Amazon module, Katie. No tutorial necessary. Try it.
There might be more to that, like 'which items convert better on Ebay and which ones better on Amazon?' Any takers?
Generally I found eBay was better for used items or new parts for old models of things - often Amazon doesn't even have these. But its been a while - frankly I didn't believe Wizzley when they said they were working on an Amazon solution - been too long at Hubpages -sorry for doubting you Wizzley guys

Paypal only :(
I feel very left out. Don't tell me to set up an account. It's not going to happen. I'm going to work on my own sites and pout.
Look I am no fan of Paypal either - but usually as a non-American its my only option, their exchange rate sucks though.
So I always go for the option, if its available, if its not though I'll take the money all day and night. Link paypal to a throw away bank account i.e. one that has next to no balance in it. There is then no risk to you.

There is if they put a hold on your account and not pay you. They are not a regulated financial institution. I've had a miserable experience with them. It cost me in legal fees the thousands of dollars they owed me. They'll never get a cent of my money to hold again. I'll just put my own afflinks on my Wizzles. As long as Wizzley allows that we'll be pals.
Fortunately as an American - Linkshare, Commission Junction, Shareasale, and Ebay all pay me at no cost, by direct deposit. The only merchant I won't be able to promote on Wizzley is Ebay.

That is too bad, Digby. I have heard others that have had major problems with Paypal. I personally have used them for years without any problems. When I did have an issue with a fraudulent payment, they took care of it right away.
Hopefully, other vendors will offer alternatives to Paypal for people who don't want to use it with enough encouragement.

Thanks Paula. At least I have other options here, so I can stay. It hurt to be forced out of HP after almost 4 years.

Hi.. I signed up for Vigilink a few months ago but I never used them, the reason being that they want various US tax forms and I just can't follow what it is they actually require as I am not from the US and don't reside in the US...
Does anyone have any advice as to which forms to fill in, i followed their links and just got more confused, it looks like I need a US tax code number or something that takes months to be provided???? Please someone put me straight........

Tony, You would have to apply again by using the link Wizzley provides us. You find the registration link by visiting the settings tab. When you follow the link, you just have to insert you email, verify email and add your password. And you are done.
I am also not from U.S. but they did not ask for any code. Are you applying individually?

I'm really excited about this! Any new revenue streams make me happy. :D
Digby - I hear your pain. I've also had an horrific experience with Paypal in the past, which resulted on me serving legal papers on them. Fortunately, that was the kick up the proverbial that they needed and I finally got someone on the 'phone willing to sort things out. I avoided them for years afterwards, but eventually had to bite the bullet and use them for American transactions.
These days I remove any funds the instant that they go into Paypal and I keep records on everything to do with them. They've not messed me around since, but I'm utterly wary and distrustful of them. My usual advice to people is to deal with Paypal like you might deal with the Mafia, and you'll at least have some come-back, if they turn dodgy on you. In the meanwhile, I'm cautiously using them again due to no choice in the matter.
And if they do cause problems, then sent me a message. I still have that whole portfolio of lawyer and CA procedures. I can save you time.

Thank you Jo. I've decided not to do business with the Mafia. (I have lawyers that eventually got the money, but not going through that again.) Luckily I live the the US, so I have other revenue streams. Just feeling a bit left out, wanted to be part of the fun. But I have access to all affiliate programs -except ebay. Will just have to work with those.

Hi Natasha, I have opened a new account with them - but if you go into their account section it says all payments are on hold until you submit tax information.. Is there an exception through wizzley or do I still need help to decipher what they have there on vigilink??

Tony I have signed up through Wizzley, but have not gone to do the Tax bit yet. I am assuming that it will be as for other US sites - there is a portion of the form that says you are not a citizen or a corporation doing business ON US soil. You tick that and send it back. Job done. If it is any more than that I will find out when I finish something later today and get back to you if I figure it out.

I filled in the first "Non US" tax form and it seems to have been accepted - if you read the help it will drive you mad - so just name and address is all they got! It seems to be ok as the "hold" on the account is gone!

I've just done the non-US tax form and it was pretty painless.
I selected Account, then clicked the button for the tax form. I said 'no' to US citizenship and it gave me a selection. I did read the confusing bumf, then decided that the first one was the way to go.
Click to fill it in electronically:
* Name
* Individual
* Leave country blank here
* Address
* Fill country in here
* Tick item 9 to say that you're not trading on US soil
* Name at the bottom for the signature
* I put 'individual' for capacity
It's accepted it and I'm good to go. :D

Thanks for all the hard work, the new look is great.
Viglinks looks like a good deal for all.
One question if I may ask, what is the best way to find sites to link to?
Thanks to all for everything...

I knew I saw this somewhere. This may help. I wrote this in regards to Squidoo but the majority of it is the same. http://squidlog.net/blog/featured/adding-an-income-stream-ebay-partner-network/
