Thanks, Jo - I have found your instructions very helpful. Perhaps someone else won't waste so much time than I have had if I add to item 9: Since I am non-US resident, I clicked a). Grandi |

Does this mean we can now use regular text links to Amazon and receive commission on any sales? |

Yes, and to any of the Amazon sites that are not Amazon.com - UK, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Italy - for all those visitors that otherwise, you may have missed. You can even do Amazon Japan, although you will not get anything in commissions from that until VigLink passes it from 'On our lists' to ' 'that is available' - you may as well put it in a link list so that when it is available, all your articles will be ready to take advantage. Janet21: 24. Feb 2012, 12:38 Janet, just to clarify, any links to Amazon outside of our module will be handled by VigLink, which means the sales will not be counting towards your tier levels in your own AA account. SEO Praxis: Specializing in WordPress Hosting and Small Business Web Design.

That is correct. It's best for us (commission-wise) to use our Amazon and Zazzle modules, but at least we do have the option to use text links if necessary. SEO Praxis: Specializing in WordPress Hosting and Small Business Web Design.

Hi all, I am not sure if you answered this question or not, but I am a bit confused about the clicks data on Viglink. For instance, this week I show no clicks, but if you go down to click outs I have 15 so far for rover.ebay which is the ebay module I assume. Those are being counted as our clicks so why aren't they in the stats? And will the sales from the modules show up in the stat? Paula, I'm seeing the same. I've raised this before but I don't think we have an answer yet. I'm just keeping on making pages using the eBay module and hoping we'll get a fix soon. I am seeing revenue for my ebay text links. I don't think we actually see sales data for eBay (although actions are recorded.) Instead we get paid based on the value of clicks (as determined by eBay.) |

However, it works as long as I am making money. Paula Atwell (aka lakeerieartists) is the owner of an online art gallery, Lake Erie Artists Gallery and a freelance writer

I've answered in the other thread: we're setting up a webinar, probably in 2 weeks, where we all can ask questions to Viglinks tracking and linking specialists. Anne will announce the exact day and time, as soon as we get the confirmation from Viglink. chefkeem: 08. Mar 2012, 17:48 I'm not sure a webinar is the best place to report a major bug like revenue not being reported from the ebay modules. (Speaking as a software engineer who has been on the other side of such things!) Sounds like something to be sorted out between Wizzley and Viglink engineers. |

We've been investigating on your reports, and we think it might be that VigLink doesn't recognize or process the rover.ebay links as regular affiliate links since we get them through the eBay API. The API enables us to pull all the information we need to build the module (item images, prices, bids, etc.) We don't have a definitive answer yet but hope to have it all sorted out in the next day or so. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, and thanks for hanging in there while we work out the kinks. SEO Praxis: Specializing in WordPress Hosting and Small Business Web Design.

It seems that Viglinks now also converts words like >Amazon< that are not links into links. Not sure if I like it or not, I think I would prefer a bit more control about where links do appear in my articles and where not ... |

You can switch it off, if or when it is implemented on Wizzley. Https://chazfox.com/
