The team is super excited to announce this hot new revenue-generating opportunity to the Wizzley community!
Effective immediately, Wizzley is introducing a new marketing partner to help monetize your content. Wizzley has collaborated with VigLink, a company that connects us instantly with thousands of affiliate programs with the utmost ease and convenience.
You can read all about this new feature, and how you can benefit from it, on this page: VigLink on Wizzley
For those of you who are too eager to get started, here is the scoop of what you need to do to participate and claim your share of the pie:
- Go to your Wizzley account dashboard and open the "Settings" tab
- Look for the "Revenue" section and click the "Edit" button
- Find the VigLink field and follow the "Registration" link. Setup your account on Viglink by providing an email address and password. Confirm the registration email to activate your account.
- Enter the same email address you used to register on VigLink into the field we provide in your profile settings.
- Enjoy!
If you don't know what to do next we recommend you do take a moment to read our VigLink page or head over to the official website of VigLink for more information.

What do we set for country / state during the registration process with Viglinks? Or own or Wizzley's and if it is the later, what state is Wizzley in?

This sounds cool! I do have a slightly off topic question though - I noticed that this page http://wizzley.com/viglink/ has Adsense floated left at the top - this is new I think?

Since you're setting up your own sub-user account, you should enter your country and state.

Thanks, just done so, just thought it would make more sense to match the country / state to the website? Nevermind, seems to work now! Thanks for a great new income opportunity!

Yes, Lissie, with that update we also introduced this feature. There is a new field called "Introduction" when creating a new article. Inside this we embed the top most ad - AdSense or Chitika. The intro can be quite long and may also contain up to one link. The ad is floating inside it. Also the header changed slightly, including the preview image of the article. Existing articles are not affected by a missing intro text, but of course, it can be still added.
Sam, for registering with VigLink, you must use the sign up link provided by Wizzley. You'll find it inside your revenue settings and also in our FAQ. The sign up process only takes seconds and you don't have to enter anything except your email and a freely chosen password. It's not a referral link - that's just how VigLink works and by that, you even get better conditions with VigLink than usual: special trade for you :)
p.s. With VigLink, finally our eBay module becomes useful, too :-))

I know Simon ;-) Already done so, I was just, shortly wondering if I had to state my country and state or Viglink's as the two differ by several thousand miles ;-) SY

Okay, so I signed up, and am thrilled about the Ebay module. I have to say thought that I am confused about how to add the other links to an article. Maybe a demo?

Just build regular, direct links. e.g. if you wanted to link to a Walkman product page at Walmart just copy and paste their page URL without worrying over anything else. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sony-Walkman-8GB-MP3-Video-Player-w-Speakers-NWZ-S544-Black/11993292
VigLink will automatically attach the affiliate code and credit the appropriate VigLink account (yours or ours) .

For those like me that are just changing around their articles to reflect the new beefy intro section with the floating ad. There seems to be a minor bug in the sense that it doesn't take content after a link, you will have to insert the link manually and then copy and paste the rest of the content after it. Hope that makes sense! SY

Got it. Just see if the company is part of their program then build links. I just reconfigured this page with the new layout. Looks awesome. http://wizzley.com/retro-vintage-or-kitsch/

Very nice, Paula! I am going through my old / published articles as well as we speak / type and change them over! Excellent improvement!

Any chance we can use bold html in the intro? Would like to insert some of my previous module headings.
