Funny Thanksgiving Dinner Outfits

by Ragtimelil

Thanksgiving doesn't usually require a lot of costumes or decorating. I think we need to change that. Here's some ideas to get you started.

Some folks go to extreme lengths to decorate for Christmas. They are only outdone by some others on Halloween with not only decorations but costumes. But what about Thanksgiving? It's a national holiday, but doesn't get much attention as far as decorating or costumes go. There may be a table centerpiece, but that's about it. We need to unite and take a stand.
Here's some ideas for upgrading your Thanksgiving holiday wardrobe.

Pumkin Pi Shirt

Finally, a shirt for the intellectuals at the table who want to make a statement. For those of you who don't get it, the shape is a mathematical symbol for Pi that is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. Pies are most often baked in a circle, so you can compute the diameter of the pie using this equation.c and pi

The shape is made out of pumpkins. So naturally, it stands for "more pumpkin pie please."

This handsome shirt from Zazzle comes in many sizes and styles.

Turkey Hat

Finally, the breakthrough you have been waiting for. Now you don't have to put up with the bother and fuss, not to mention the smell, of wearing fresh poultry on your head. This adorable synthetic turkey hat will prevent odors, slippage, stray dogs and last much longer. it simply is the most appropriate head gear for Thanksgiving. I can just see the future son-in-law showing up for dinner resplendent in a roasted turkey hat.
This "one size fits all" hat also comes in a raw version.

Have You Ever Worn Barnyard Fowl on Your Head?

Full Turkey Suit

If the head gear wasn't enough for you, here's a solution to the problem of what to wear for dinner. This good-looking suit fits most adults but I've read that it's a tight squeeze for our larger-thighed cousins. The body of this popular turkey outfit will need some padding to fill it out. Paper towels were recommended.

This elegant suit is sure to charm and fascinate your host and hostess. Great for dinner with the boss.

Footwear

For those of you who can never decide which shoes to wear, here's the perfect solution for your dilemma. These stunning feet are advertised as chicken feet, but I defy anyone to prove that they're not turkey feet. They go with practically any outfit and make a statement that you are in control and know how to dress in style.

They come with four toes even if they look a little short and stubby. Also advertised as one size fits all, but they don't mention what size it is. Hand wash only and do not use bleach.

Cooked Turkey Suit

Here's the perfect suit to go with the chicken feet listed above. This adorable cooked turkey suit does not come with shoes. It's a perfect suit for the game of football in the front yard since it's inflatable. No padding required.

Comes with a mesh screen for breathe-ability although I wouldn't keep my head in there. Perhaps a mask would help, although except for the quite obvious chicken masks, there is a real shortage of turkey masks. This might be an issue we need to address.

Perfect Turkey

This t-shirt is guaranteed to impress your girl friend and her parents. Perhaps it's making a statement about her looks, or maybe your tolerance for strange looking birds. Either way, you're sure to be a hit at the dinner table.

This shirt from Zazzle comes in assorted styles and sizes. You're sure to find one to fit your particular shape.

Dog Turkey Outfit

This is the kind of thing that makes me grateful that I have larger dogs. This suit makes the dog look like a cross between a tiny unicorn and Carmen Miranda. I'm pleased that dogs don't understand what we do to them, most of the time. They do, however, understand being laughed at. If your dog is an introvert or has people issues, please don't put him in this suit.

Good outfit for an outgoing, funny acting dog who likes to make people laugh.
