Gymnastics Birthday Party Ideas and Supplies for Girls

You can add a gymnastics themed postage stamp if you really want to have a high excitement level for your upcoming party. (They come in sheets of 20 stamps.) Party organizers rarely do this so they're a really novel and creative idea that kids of all ages will love. But these stamps are only good if you're in the USA. 

Gymnastics themed balloons are really hard to find - and the ones I found were lacking in color for a child's birthday. So that gave me another idea that would give more color and would still have a gymnastics theme. 

So what was my idea? Balloons in the gold and silver of Olympic medals. Every young gymnast dreams of being an Olympic medalist one day and balloons like this will give brightness to your party decorating too. I especially liked these star balloons instead of just the plain gold and silver ones. This is because they give more of a festive mood and fit right into the star gymnast theme. 

You can add to this idea with gold and silver streamers. Older girls might even like black balloons with silver or gold stars added into the mix. This can look very grown up and stylish at a party.

You can use the Olympic medal color theme with cupcakes too. Just look out for gold and silver cupcake decorations and foil cups. Then you only need to add creativity and imagination to create Olympic medal inspired gymnastics cupcakes that will look great on the party table. They'll also continue the decorating theme that you started with Olympic inspired balloons.

Gymnastics themed chocolates are easy to make with gymnastic molds. I was able to find a few different styles that will look impressive at a party (or in a party favor bag). I've never made chocolates myself but have had friends who enjoyed doing this. They found it easy to do and often made chocolates for gifts. 

If you want to add color to your gymnastic chocolates think about getting both milk and white chocolate to make them with. You can either make white chocolates AND milk chocolates. Or you could mix the two together for colorful swirled chocolate. Another way to add color would be to tie a silver or gold ribbon around the chocolate stick. This also keeps the Olympic medal theme going.

By being creative you can create a bright and fun gymnastics themed birthday despite supplies being hard to find. Just make good use of what is available in birthday party supplies. Then add ideas like the Olympic theme to fill in areas where no actual gymnastics themed party supplies can be found. By doing both you can create a brilliant gymnastics themed party for girls.
