Their employees are all paid a living wage and have an extensive benefits package including health insurance. Many of their employees have been there over 20 years. In fact when they reach that employment milestone, the company gives them a free trip to Hawaii. While it's fantastic that Glass Eye Studio has these policies, it is sad that that's considered worth noting it today's world. Blowing glass is certainly an art, but visit their workplace and you'll see that it certainly feels like a manufacturing plant. Six huge gas furnaces are the central feature to their workroom.

Consistency and execution are the keys to the success of Glass Eye Studio. Each piece is unique because of the glass blowing process. However they are all made to exacting standards. That's made it easy for retailers across the world to sell and then reorder pieces. Christmas or Holiday ornaments, as the Glass Eye Studio calls, them make up one-third of their business.
