Iron Man LEGO - Cosmic Cube Escape

This Iron Man Marvel Heroes LEGO set is based on a scene from the Avengers movie although it has been adapted a little. Loki possesses Hawkeye using the cosmic cube and uses him to drive him away using one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s trucks. These two cool Super Hero mini figures are accompanied in this set by an awesome Iron Man!

This is a really well-priced LEGO set and youngsters who love Super Heroes will go wild for this set. It is a great way to obtain three cool mini figures at a decent price and many collectors will want this just for the Iron Man and Loki mini figures alone.

What's Cool

• LEGO Iron Man comes with an awesome helmet that is superbly molded to look just like the one seen in the movies. The gold visor lifts up and the menacing eyes are printed on.

• A double-sided printed head gives two different expression on Tony Stark's face.

• Intricate printing on the torso (front and back) and legs give this mini figure a detailed and awesome color scheme.

What's Not Cool

• The helmet is rather bulky in relation to the mini figure. Perhaps some armor would have helped even this out and add to the Iron Man look.

• The clear, blue pieces which are supposed to represent the "whoosh" of rockets. Well, at least they are easily removed.

What's Cool

• Loki's helmet is very elaborate. It is made of soft plastic which allows it to bend a little and prevent it from being easily broken.

• The body printing has some very nice gold detail and makes him look good.

• Unusual green cape.

• Comes armed with an impressive spear which consists of two parts.

What's Not Cool

• No printing on the rear of the mini figure.

• The helmet feels very cheap.

• There is only one very common expression printed on this head piece.

What's Cool

• The color scheme is mostly black and really cool.

• Hawkeye comes armed with an awesome black bow.

• Flesh colored arms give the impression of Hawkeye wearing a sleeveless shirt.

• The body printing is extremely detailed and makes his clothing look well-equipped for action.

• Leg printing adds some nice detail.

• Cool sunglasses print on the face also has an alternative expression.

What's Not Cool

• Nothing.

This LEGO truck is a pretty standard vehicle and is more or less familiar to most LEGO fans.

The truck comes in a  nice blue color and is composed of quite a lot of large pieces so it is very easy to assemble for beginners and very young LEGO builders.

A few stickers are supplied to transform what is a blue LEGO city truck into the version used by S.H.I.E.L.D. and a few nice details are the fire extinguisher, flick-firing missiles and the simple contraption on the back which ejects Loki from his position at the rear of the vehicle.

This is a nice LEGO truck which youngsters will enjoy playing with although it really is nothing special in terms of making this an exclusive Super Heroes set.
