Jeff Buckley recorded one of the best-known versions of "Hallelujah" for his debut album Grace in 1994. His version was ranked number 259 on Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time".

The Buckley version has been widely featured in film and television dramas. For me, this is surely the best version of this song and probably one of the best tunes ever written and performed by any living musician. I heard it more than a thousand times and every time I listen to this song its like the first time. The song song is so nostalgic and sadly beautiful that it kind of take me to a whole different world and state of mind. This is not just a song, it's a special part of life that every person should consider in order to live completely.
