Being little can have its drawbacks. Everyone thinks you're not old enough or not big enough to do the things that you think may be fun.
Sometimes, even though you may pretend to be strong and brave, you may also feel secretly a little afraid, too.
That's when it helps to have a good imagination, much like Lulu does in this series of books that shows young children how to face the ordinary events of life with aplomb.
The Ladybug Girl series is fun for kids from about age three up. And all the books are not just for girls. Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy is a book in the series that confronts the sometimes complicated affair of playing with other kids, all of whom may have their own ideas of what the rules should be.

Thanks, kinworm! I hope to see your fairy designs when they're done. Will you make a wizzle with them?
These look like sweet books and I adore the illustrations especially as I've just been working on my own ladybug fairy designs. These ones are very cute.
What a cute story, Brenda! This book series sounds like a perfect match for a little girl with a big brother, especially if she's already called ladybug!
I have to get this for my grand-daughter. When my daughter was pregnant, she asked my grandson what he thought they should name the baby. He said ladybug. Ladybugs became the theme of her life.
I'll bet your daughters and any other little girls would love these books, Katie.
My daughters always love books with characters. Lady bugs are a beloved and heartwarming character. Looking forward to reading ladybug girl.
