As a child, I was fascinated by clocks that were musical and that moved when the hour struck. I have gathered here some motion clocks to delight you. Some I chose because of how they look, others because of the music they play.
Whimsy inspires some of these clocks. Others are chosen for their intricate movements. Still others inspire with their melodies.
I hope you enjoy them.

That feature is an improvement over the old style clocks, CruiseReady.
I hadn't even thought about musical of motion clocks for many years. This was a nice reminder of how nice it would be to have one around. What's really cool is that you mentioned some of them can be programmed to be quiet during sleeping hours. How convenient that is!
That's funny, Brenda because I've just aded that very clock to a new wizzle I'm creating about rooster clocks: http://www.wizzley.com/rooster-clock. I haven't actually published it yet as I'm adding a bit more text. I really love the colors in that clock. It would look perfect in my kitchen, too.
Here's the one I bought: http://www.amazon.com/Westland-Giftwa...
Wow! I hope you enjoy it, Brenda! What colors did you choose?
I did it, but I bought one similar with different colors.
Sheila, I need a kitchen clock. I'm going to buy it right now. I think it's going to be hot wings.
They are neat, Kimbesa, aren't they?
I had no idea there were so many of these motion clocks! Hot Wings are on my list!
Thanks, Hollie. We had a cuckoo clock growing up, too.
