This world contains magnificent objects created and invented by mankind, many of which are loved and cherished by people for generations. They could be anything, artifacts, antiques from 1940s, art objects like glass, vintage collectibles, paintings, posters and much more.
The universe of ornate art glass is expanding and many people use the phrases – decorative, antiques, collectibles, crystal artifacts and the likes for identifying items that are rare and can fetch handsome prices.

Have you been to any art glass exposition?
Art glass expositions are so compelling, be they aesthetic or practical, ancient or modern.
The Czech glassmakers have a longstanding reputation for cutting trees for their furnaces in environmentally friendly ways. They left the land so nicely cleared that farmers and villagers could live on them and from their non-destroyed, still-fertile soils, still-standing vegetation. They never practiced clear-cutting.
Where would you place them in comparison to Baccarat, Daum and Locke?
I checked some spectacular designs online of Kristal Rogaska and they are stunning. I wonder why you had not put any article on those artistic glass masterpieces. I used to think you write mostly on fairy tales. Now I have come to know that you are into something big and impressive.
Not really, but I have seen several stunning pieces and we even had basic training of glass making in our school (nothing artistic really, but some designs panned out pretty original...). Our company Kristal Rogaska has some very impressive results and became pretty prestigious brand among hi end buyers and I recommend to check their collection too.
@ blackspanielgallery - It is stunning to see what all the art glass is capable of doing.
@ lindylou2 - Isn't it amazing; art glass can come in so many colorful shapes and forms. Glass is a beautiful medium for artists and plays an important role in enhancing decor.
Fantastic pieces of glass, very detailed.
@burntchestnut - Paperweights are also miniature art glass forms. I love the colorful ones.
I don't have any art glass, but it is beautiful. I do have some pretty glass paperweights, though.
