Adirondack chairs have long been made of wood. That's okay, because the wooden look works great with this type of outdoor chair. The problem is that wood requires a lot of upkeep.
In order to keep your chair looking its best, you have to occasionally sand and paint it. And of course, there is always the possibility of getting a splinter from a non-maintained chair. Bottom line, the wooden chairs are great looking and comfortable, but they are also quite a bit of work.
But what if you could have that great look and comfortable seating without all the work? Well, now you can. With a plastic (or resin) Adirondack chair you'll never have to paint, sand, or worry about those pesty splinters ever again.

What do you think of Resin Adirondack Chairs?
I have a fondness for wood, but you are right, the resin ones are way more durable
The chairs certainly look comfortable.
This is a great chair that stands up to weather, feels and looks great regardless. I love the color.
They really can take a beating...and still look great. Not true of the wooden versions, though.
They look durable.
