Review of Cosmos Creations Salted Caramel Premium Puffed Corn

by StevenHelmer

I purchased a bag of this product a couple weeks ago. Read to find out what I thought of it.

Product Description: Oven-baked puff corn from the Cosmos Creations brand advertising a sweet/salty caramel flavor and made with natural ingredients. My family and I purchased a bag of this snack food while shopping at Costco a couple weeks ago for use in school lunches and as an every-day snack item.

Review

One of our biggest challenges is keeping an adequate amount of snack foods in our house. This is both because of our daughters' school lunches/snacks and because they usually need something to snack on during their extra curricular activities.

As a result of this, whenever we make a run to Costco, we end up looking for items that will fill this particular need while, at the same time, trying to find items that are somewhat unique. This is why we ended up purchasing a bag of Cosmos Creations Salted Caramel Premium Puffed Corn a couple weeks ago.

To tell you the truth, it took a little bit of convincing before I put this particular item in my cart. This is because, while it sounded good from the description, I was also concerned it would be like dozens of other products we've purchased and wouldn't live up to expectations.

In particular, I was a little concerned by the "salted" part of the salted caramel description. Even as I put this in our shopping car, I wondered if the puffed corn would be much more salty than it was sweet, something that would likely result in the majority of it going uneaten. However, after trying this product, I do have to say it was as good as we were hoping it would be.

The thing I really like about this product is it has a somewhat unique flavor. The salted caramel gives it just the right amount of sweetness to make it noticeably different from other products we could have purchased. This is something everyone of us has enjoyed when eating this puffed corn.

In fact, my daughter managed to make even more fans of this product when she took it to school with her. Several of her classmates ended up trying it and they all loved it to the point they were asking where we purchased it. She's just fortunate she was able to keep them from eating all of it on her.

Final Opinion

I had some doubts when I made this purchase and fully expected the puffed corn to go uneaten after we all had a chance to try it. However, it turned out to be a good purchase and is a product I would recommend.
