Product Description: Stove-top dinner kit from the Kraft Velveeta brand prepared by combining chicken with the pasta, seasoning and cheese sauce inside the box. I purchased this dinner kit a few weeks ago at one of our local grocery stores. My wife and I ended up using it when we prepared dinner this past weekend.
Review of Kraft Velveeta Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheesy Skillet Dinner Kit
My wife and I decided to use this kit this past weekend. Read to find out what I thought of it.
We decided to spend this past Sunday rearranging our living room and putting up our Christmas tree. This proved to be a bit more of a project than expected and, by the time we were done, we were both too tired to make dinner. However, since the weather wasn't particularly pleasant and we didn't want to risk the snow-covered streets (or, actually, the drivers who don't know how to drive on them), we ended up using this product instead.
I purchased this product a few weeks ago because it was on sale and I figured we would eventually have an evening (like we did on Sunday) when it would come in handy. I've had other skillet dinners from this brand in the past and thought they were pretty good. So, when we prepared this one, using some boneless/skinless chicken breast we had in our freezer, my expectations were relatively high. As it turns out, this product met those expectations.
When it came to preparation, I had no complaints about it. The skillet meal was actually easier than I expected it to be and all we really had to do was slice and cook the chicken then follow a couple easy steps. Considering we were both tired to the point we didn't want to make anything overly complicated, this was something I definitely appreciated.
As far as taste goes, I was satisfied. I don't know if I liked this one quite as much as the lasagna variety we had recently. But, I thought it had a good taste to it. And, I'm actually not normally a huge fan of ranch seasoning.
I was also very impressed with how filling this product was. It didn't look like a lot when we made it. But, we only managed to get through half the pan and ended up putting the rest in the fridge for another time. This added quite a bit of value to our purchase, in my opinion at least.

As I mentioned, I liked the lasagna variety a little more. But, overall, I thought this was a good purchase and I would recommend this if you're looking for a filling dinner that is easy to make.
