Product Description: Pre-packaged pasta side dish with broccoli and chicken seasonings. This is prepared either on the stove or in the microwave by adding water, milk and butter and makes enough for about 4-6 servings. My wife purchased a package of this a couple weeks ago while shopping at our local Aldi grocery store and I prepared it as a dinner side dish earlier this week.
Review of Reggano Chicken and Broccoli Flavored Pasta & Sauce

My wife picked up a package of this a couple weeks ago and we made it earlier this week. What did we think of it?
A Decent and Affordable Side Dish
Normally, I wouldn’t consider making a chicken-flavored side dish to go with steak. However, my wife, who was otherwise in charge of making dinner, was too busy to prepare the side dishes and, since this was handy, relatively easy to prepare and didn’t take a great deal of time to cook, I decided to make it. As it turns out, it was actually a pretty good choice.
As far as convenience goes, I had absolutely no complaints about this product. Since I had just gotten home from work, I wasn’t in the mood for anything that was overly complicated and this pasta dish was very easy to prepare. I just had to mix the contents of the package with the milk and water and add a little butter to it before putting it in the microwave. And, believe me, there are plenty of similar products out there that aren’t anywhere near as easy.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect as far as taste goes because products like this do tend to vary a bit. However, I would definitely say this is one of the better brands in this category. The pasta wasn’t overly salty and the seasonings didn’t clump up like I’ve had happen with other brands. Again, this was something that was definitely appreciated because, even though I was starving by the time we sat down to eat, it was nice having something that complimented the steak rather than something that would ruin the entire meal.
I even thought the quantity was surprisingly decent for this type of product. We didn’t have any leftover. But, we did have enough for the meal and, given the fact this is something that cost us less than $2; that was more than enough.
Final Opinion
It still probably wasn’t the best choice to go with steak. But, it had a decent flavor and we did enjoy this pasta side dish. I do recommend picking up this product if you get a chance to because it is something that I think every kitchen should have.

StevenHelmer, Thank you for product lines, pretty pictures and practical information.
Did you all opt for stove-top heating? Sometimes, I find that it gives a different taste which some prefer to microwave.
Would the chicken seemed to have meshed more with the steak if you'd prepared the two together, such as by grilling?
