Product Description: Thin-cut boneless pork chops from the Smithfield brand. I purchased a package of four chops (roughly a half-pound) from one of our local grocery stores a few weeks ago while they were on sale. I ended up cooking these chops on my grill last night and served them as part of our family dinner.
Review of Smithfield Thin-Cut Boneless Pork Chops

A review of the pork chops I prepared for dinner last night.
Review
My wife was busy doing some household projects yesterday so I told her I would take care of dinner when I got home from work. However, I wasn't really sure what I was going to prepare and, as a result of this, ended up digging in our freezer when I got home. I came across some thin-cut boneless pork chops from the Smithfield brand and decided to make them on the grill.
This was a product I purchased a few weeks ago while doing some routine grocery shopping at one of our local stores. Pork is something everyone in our family enjoys and, when I saw them on sale, I figured it was worth making the purchase (though, since it was a small package, I knew I would have to make something else to go with them). After having them last night, I can honestly say I was happy with this purchase.
As I mentioned before, I prepared these on the grill. Almost immediately, I noticed these chops, unlike so many others I've purchased (especially those at a discount) didn't have a lot of grease in them. This was appreciated because I really hate dealing with the grill flaring up (something that always results in the meat getting overcooked).
Also, while these were thinly cut, they were still thick enough to make it easy to flip them without fear of one of them falling through the grates of the grill. This, again, has been a problem in the past and is one of my biggest pet peeves.
Largely because of their size and the lack of grease, I was concerned these would end up tasting dry. That, however, was not the case. The meat was tender and moist and everyone, including my picky children, enjoyed them as a result. This, along with everything else, did make me feel like I spent my money wisely.

Final Opinion
This was a spur-of-the-moment purchase that proved to be a good choice. I would highly recommend this brand if you're looking for some pork chops to barbecue and will be looking to purchase some more of these in the future.

StevenHelmer, Thank you for practical information, pretty pictures and product information.
Even as I do not eat ham or pork, I appreciate knowing about the quality products that I may serve for those who eat no meat except ham or pork.
