A Rooster Clock for the Kitchen

I tend to prefer the Arabic numerals because I can read them more quickly and don't have to scratch my head at whether I'm looking at an IX or an XI. Of course most people can easily tell the time by the position of the hands, but as for me, I tend to like things clear and easy. That's why I tend to steer towards the more modern numbers. On the other hand, there's a certain classic elegance about the Roman numerals.

I really like these round rooster clocks. I think any one of them would look good on a kitchen wall. Right now I think I'm leaning towards the French country kitchen one, but which one would look best depends upon the other colors you have in your kitchen.

I think these Zazzle clocks are really fun. The French rooster has an artistic look about it. "Cocorico" is the way French people imitate the crowing sound a rooster makes. It's a more realistic description than the "cock-a-doodle-doo" we English speakers say, don't you think?

The two roosters facing each other is a pretty hilarious image. Can't you almost hear their conversation as they carry on their tete-a-tete?
