As a crafts person, I spend probably way too much time looking online at crafts. I like to get ideas and inspiration for my own works whether it’s a design concept or a different item to make. I don’t copy what’s out there, but I do let ideas percolate in until the seed planted in my head is ready to sprout and become a new creation.
In the process of browsing other works, I have inadvertently stumbled on pages of what I consider some of the silliest crafts around. Now you might not agree with me. You might have just finished one of these masterpieces and are quite proud of your accomplishment. I don’t mean to make light of anyone’s hobby. If you are happy making these things, I’m all for it. I just have to warn you, I’m not a lacy, pastel-colored kind of person.
Disclaimer, very few of these items have public domain images. I’ve tried to draw some samples so you could get an idea of what they might look like. I have created links to the actual instructions or items available for sale whenever I could in case you wanted to investigate further.

Why thank you. I had fun with this.
I try to use up what I have, but often it's the wrong color, the wrong weight, or not enough for the project. That's how stashes get started. No wonder I don't have room to move!
You are right about that! I think any artist or craftsperson does a project and later thinks, "What was I thinking?" However, not all of them advertise that fact on the Internet!
Why thank you. I think it was the bra purse that tipped me over the edge. :))
lots of smiles in this article Lana!! way to go!!
Yeah, I'm probably outvoted on that one.
Thanks.
Well I must say I do love the entire duct tape thing. My youngest daughter has over 12 different patterns and colors. She makes everything with duct tape. Its now fashionable to fix anything and put it back together with duct tape. Great fun article. :)K
